I’ve been thinking as the world spins around
If you looked into my mind
What would you find
Could you understand the questions in my life.

If I offered you a glimpse of the madness behind my eyes
Would you listen to the music of a mad man’s life
Will you dance to the psychotic waltz ringing in my ears.

And the world keeps spinning around and around
Like a runaway train without a sound
On tracks that led to nowhere with nowhere left hide.

Will the world remember the music of a madman’s life
Will they dance to the psychotic waltz that is ringing in my ears.

Or will you simply walk away.

I’ll offer you a glimpse
A chance to look inside at the questions in my life
I’ll buy you a ticket on a runaway train
If you listen to the music behind my eyes
Then you will know that we are not insane.

Or will you simply walk away.

    Yeah, you could even write a song that just illustrates the psychotic waltz by having harmony and a sea-sick kind of tilt to the waltz pattern that SUGGESTS the mood! :D

    Godfather, I've always been too shy to write my own songs. I mean, then people would actually hear what I think about. It's been like pulling teeth to get me used to writing words about what I think about. :oops:

    I play a lot of music though and arrange things so, theoretically, I could write songs.

    It's probably the next hill I'll need to climb. :?
