And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

  • The NRA should look into this. The attacker should have been able to get a gun! Maybe his rights were somehow violated because someone refused to sell him one.

I think that fact that he used a knife was all part of the plan

some people just like knives, some like baseball bats, some like machetes, some like
driving their car into innocent people or the wrong way on the freeway, some like bombs,
some like their bare hands ...

moral of the story it is the person not the weapon

Maybe that was his point. To show that new gun laws won't stop someone
from committing horrific crimes. That or he's taking "The Following" to serious.
And you know it's just a matter of time before someone blames that show.

.... Okay, this is no laughing matter. :| As someone who works at a university, these university attacks hit particularly close to home. It's always a bit of a concern for me, especially since sometimes I have to give bad news to unstable students.

But good thing it was a knife and not a gun. There would be dead people and not just hurt people, and probably a lot more of them, since apparently we're making this another gun control conversation (fingers crossed for the two who are critical).

    I can't won't watch that show...
real life is scary enough. I only hope young kids aren't watching the serial killer
shows on TV. Adult content really effects the young and impressionable.

Knives are more a personal way to kill ... more physically rewarding.
If you put yourself in the role of a killer. I don't think as disconnected as with a gun
as has been described of the shooters of late.

Killers aren't going away because guns do. Killers find way.

    http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162- ... rant-says/

(CBS) HOUSTON - Dylan Quick, the 20-year-old accused of stabbing 14 fellow students at the Lone Star College Cy-Fair campus Tuesday, allegedly told investigators he had been fantasizing about cannibalism, and about cutting off people's faces and wearing them as masks, CBS affiliate KHOU reports.

The fantasies reportedly started when he was eight-years-old, according to Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia.

The new details are outlined in a search warrant served by sheriff's deputies at Quick's parents' home in northwest Harris County.

"Mr. Quick admitted he was the lone stabber at Lone Star College," the warrant states, according to KHOU. "Mr. Quick stated that last week he researched the internet about mass stabbings on his personal computer."

According to the station, authorities seized a laptop from the home as well as a digital camera. They also reportedly recovered a Hannibal Lecter mask and the books "Hit List" and "Hitman," which deal with serial killings.

"The Book of Five Rings," a martial arts text on sword fighting, was also reportedly seized.

The warrant stated that Quick "sharpened various instruments such as a hairbrush and pencils to use as weapons.

He allegedly confessed that he used an X-acto knife and a scalpel in the campus stabbing spree, according to the warrant.

Quick waived his right to a probable cause hearing Thursday and was a no show in court.

He remains jailed and is under a suicide watch, according to his attorney.

If convicted, Quick faces up to 20 years in prison.

last line 20 years in prison? :wtf: we are going to get him mental illness help right?
so he doesn't come out meaner and crazier ... a future killer... he'll be only 40.

You can stab that many people and only get 20 years ... what is wrong with this picture?
What is wrong with our country?
