Anyone else with me? This solo tour was such a c***k tease in the sense that it feels like the East Coast leg should be RIGHT NOW.

It was like an amuse bouche.

Back to the real world for a little while. :( lol

For me I go threw friend withdrawal. Seeing some old friends and new ones is always great. But when you have to leave it's so sad. I notice that more at least with me. I hate saying goodbye.

Get it every time and am right there next to ya. Can't wait for June but not looking forward to the withdrawl after that. I am praying they are going to announce more dates.

OK, so this is how much I suffer:
I actually can not listen to ITW soundtrack because everytime I start listening to it, I get this knot in my stomach. It's like a feeling similar to the first a few days after you break up with someone you really cared about , so the break up was not because you hated him/her but more for things just did not work out.

    awwww, that is so sweet.

i'm just the opposite. listening to it is amazing. its like i never even heard it until i heard eddie do it live.

One of the great things we have to look forward to is that if Ed ever pulls out one of his solo ITW songs for a pre-set or something, it will be a rarity, and for those of us lucky enough to have seen it on the solo tour, it will be bringing back memories.

Chefs at many fine restaurants offer guests an amuse bouche as little bites of delight before the meal begins. Perhaps, I can call Eddie Vedder's Solo Tour - 'auditory' hors d'oeuvres? Each song was more than the bite-sized treats that excited the ear and delighted the eye, before the main course is served.

been lucky enought to see PJ at least once each year since 2003

cannot ask for more, so no problem here, and eternally grateful they are playing MSG this summer. I mean, no record to support, no real reason to go on tour, and yet two glorious nights IN THE CITY

    I am stoked.
  • I think I have PTTS........Post traumatic tour syndrome... :(

edit: you know, I think what bugs me most is that usually you can get the boot for the show you were at so you could experience it again. No boots for this one! yet....... ;)

A nice memory for some... and there will be some who bitch to high heaven because they've already heard it on EV's solo tour.

I very much enjoyed hearing the ITW songs live - especially with Emile singing, 'Hard Sun' with his white lab coat on!

I agree with josevolution. As much as the waiting is driving me mad, I love the slow build up to June 11. I find my mood getting that much brighter. 84 in Philly today didn't hurt either. Day off, PJ was cranking.. No Code followed by London 05, June travel plans locked in as of 5pm today, and driving with the windows down. Took a look across the Delaware at the S-Center and got a rush of adrenalin. It's gonna be a great 54 days or so till 6/11.
