in our darkest hour
we were always able to find a spark
to light the way.
I feel I shall not be able to walk
this dark path alone
nor do I wish to.
love does not vanish
it only sometimes becomes misplaced
buried below the surface.

I am not blind to my flaws
I see them every day
I cannot escape them, they are mine.
if I can no longer be the one by your side

If I can no longer know that love,
