summer sausage log
shave off over spinach
add croutons
pour three cap fulls of paul newman caesar olive oil salad dressing
so you see, summer sausage log can be taken care of with other items not just cheese & crackers

Hope things are well with you big man!
You've given me some ideas for a salad.
Leafy greens- a staple in our household. The wife insists on all kinds of fancy, homemade oils and vinegraittes (sp?), but I always opt for the ranch dressing when given the choice.
We've had a ton of spinach lately, but as good as it is for us... it's not my favourite.

Yes, spinach salads are healthy and a great way to stay on track, BUT there's always a but. Be careful what you add on your salad - cheese, croutons, summer sausage, winter sausage, dressing etc. Before you know it you have a 1000 Calorie salad. Not too healthy anymore.
Just stick with a green salad, cucumbers, carrots, add some grilled chicken for protein and a light vinaigrette dressing. Keep the calories low.
but no matter what i am doing very well. croutons, paul newman's caesar dressing w/ olive oil & parmesan cheese.
the spinach bag i usually purchase is a $2.19
i get 3 nice salads out of this sack of spinach
many times this is a daily event
i been cutting back on my spinach intake though
tonight i'll be dining on half a avocado
large pile of spinach
croutons
& my favorite dressing
one banana
one sweetie orange or whatever they are
few frozen strawberries
fruit juice splashed in for good measure....
