Right on... I usually have my music on shuffle so I forget about certain albums till a song comes on to remind me, it's time to take a listen to the whole album again...

Definately one of the best Chili Peppers albums. Every song on there is quality. On Itunes they have EP's of the 3 singles off that album. There are some great B-sides that didn't make the album and were recorded during those sessions. You can check them out on youtube also.

yep, I have hardly touched I'm With You since it first came out, I love listening to their live album, Live in Hyde Park at the gym, just to appreciate how great Frusicante was with them with his back up vocals and his harmonies and melodies, sigh

also, nothing of his solo stuff since he left the band I have liked unlike those albums he released around 03-06

Couldn't agree more. That stretch of solo albums are amazing. I only have The Will to Death on vinyl, I need to find some funds and try and snag some more.

  • It is a great album. I still have that album, but I now listen to it on my IPod nowadays. It's too bad that it is the last RHCP album with John Frusciante. I like I'm With You though. I am going the Red Hot Chili Peppers for the first time at the Orion Music and More Festival in Detroit on June 8 & 9. Their co-headliner (and creators of the festival) Metallica will close the other night. Who knows? This might the only RHCP show I will go see where it is General Admission (the floor is Reserved Seats for their North American arena shows).

yeah I saw that they released a bunch on vinyl, but all were $30+ so haven't yet purchased any. Unfortunately, I didn't see any release of Shadows Collide With People on vinyl, just the ones that came after up to Curtains

Great album!! It does have some tunes that could be cut, but I can't think of anything that's just awful and a large portion is fantastic. I slightly prefer By the Way for it's consistency but they left the Froosh era on a really high note.

Huge fan of this album, I think it's great work. Strip My Mind is one of my all-time favorite RHCP tracks. Dat solo!

This couyld be my second fav RHCP album, after Mother's Milk, I got the deluxe edition, best song Especially in Michingan, you don't get that one unless you buy the deluxe edition. I wanted to buy the vinyl from popmarket but the MF said that shipping was free to my country, but the price was higher than if you buy in the states, so I didn't buy it, I saved the cash for the PJ show in buenos aires instead...

what do you mean by seven copies? how do they differ from each other? The Argentine edition is the lamest...
