i remember reading once that dave grohl filled in for a few shows years ago when PJ were in between drummers. does anybody know the exact dates/places of these shows? anyone have any audio from them?

    he played on a couple songs during encores of two shows in australia on the 1995 tour. I think he did sonic reducer, rockin in the free world and against the 70's. all these shows are posted in the download share thread.

    ed and dave toured with mike watt in 1996 i believe

    yeah, he joined during Rockin' in the Free World in 95', Australia.

  • Wasn't there rumors floating around that he was even offered to be the man behind the PJ kit during that time? Obviously he turned it down because of the foo fighters. Don't get me wrong I love cameron adn think hes one of the most unique drummers in the world, but grohl on drums would have been SICK!
