Have you ever seen her fly

The other day she said that she could feel the ocean
As it moved the mountains in her heart
She said she could make it rain on a sunny day
She said that she lives in a castle far away

She rides on the back of the dragon
As she moves under cover of the sun
Flying like the eagle in her dreams she soars across the sky
She has the king and his country giving her every wish
She makes me feel so high.

Every little thing she tries to say
Everything I try to give her
Everything just fades away.

And I can’t wait to see her as she flies across the sky.

One day at a time and just this life to fly
She said she heard it in a song
And she sing’s it every day as she flies
And she flies across the sky
On the back of the dragon under cover of the sun.

Have you ever seen her fly.

But later in the day when the headaches and the dreams go away
She fixes dinner and feeds her family for the night
Then she goes out back on the porch and lights a cigarette
then looks up to the sky and sings.

I ride on the back of the dragon
As I move under cover of the sun
Flying like the eagle in my dreams I soar across the sky
I have the king and his country following my every wish…..

She makes him feel so high.
