How are CRIMINALS getting GUNS & AMMO

LaPierre’s argument is that a background/registration of a gun purchase will not stop a criminal from obtaining a weapon. Ok, so

--If criminals know they won’t pass ANY type of background/registration check how are they getting their supplies of weapons and ammo?

    This is a very good question. I assume it is different everywhere.
    I wouldnt know where to go to get it illegally, or without a background check.. other than internet or gun shows. But I doubt criminals use those too often.

    How about these three, were they criminals or did legal access to guns make them criminals?

    --Columbine shooter got guns via ‘straw purchase’.

    --Virginia Tech shooter got his guns via a ‘gun shop’ even though he had documented mental problems.

    --Sandy Hook shooter got his guns via his home

    The difference being... there are no Meth or Heroin stores... or Cocaine shows... and Meth, Herioin and Cocaine are not sold in the sporting goods department at the Wal-Mart. You have to go behind the Wal-Mart to purchase those items directly from the Wal-Mart employees.

    A good idea would be for congress to spend as much time on trying to keep guns away from criminals as they do trying to keep guns from law abiding American citizens. We could even substitute ammunition for the word guns.

Can't blame the government, there is NOTHING thay can do to restrict bad humans from getting guns, blame the NRA and present gun owners for suppling criminals. If the government tries anything, the NRA fear machine drums up support from all the paranoid human Americans and blocks it.
