Yes.. Yes he is .... and i would love to hopefully see him one day once i stop spending money on this band
Sure you probably know this already but John is a big fan of PJ. I grew up with him in CT and we almost wore out Vs and Vitalogy driving around town. "Nothingman" is the song I remember singing along with the most. If you listen to some of his early work in a band called "Villanova Junction" (high school band), some people tend to think he was going for a Eddie sound.
He's covered Yellow Ledbetter, did it at a show in the early 2000s in Virginia.
One night back in like 2004 or 2005, he sent me a text in the middle of the night saying that he was listening to No Code and just how great an album it was.
I think you could really make something work having John open on Eddie's solo tour, think it would surprise a lot of people and be very cool.
Holy Shit! You know John Mayer thats awesome! And that would be something... Eddie should invite him to open up on his next solo tour..... I think it would introduce even more people that arnt necessarily in love eddie into the wondefull world of PJ
Been a tough few years I think but happy that he'll have a chance to get back out on stage this summer.
The Trio album and tour was one of the highlights of his career in my opinion (if not THE highlight). Those shows were just ridiculous, as good as you could imagine.
Thats awesome maybe you should suggest to him that maybe he should give eddie a call
I use to burn those mixtapes to my dad, he is 65 years old. The other day I put few John Mayer songs on one. He loved it, so burnt few of his cds to him
Who says..
The rest of it
No thanks
