Watched PJ20 with my Wife last night
First let me prefice this by saying that she is a casual fan; likes to sing along to daughter and better man, etc. I hadn't seen PJ20 since PBS aired it a couple of years ago, saw it on Netflix, so I told her she was going to watch it with me.
As we were going through it, she was laughing, asking questions about stuff, singing along with songs, just enjoying it, and that made me happy. At the end of it she asked if we were going to be able to get tickets to Wrigley, because she really wants to go now. I said, "One way or another, I AM getting tickets." I have never been to a show either.
So before, I was kind of just dragging her to the concert (assuming we get tickets) and hoping that seeing them live would convert her into a fan. But now, she's really excited to see them live, which is great, but I have a feeling that that will make it easier to pay more for tickets. God help me and my bank account. I am certainly going to wait as long as I can for a deal, but I can already see myself blowing a wad just to get into this show.

I'd say that will do the trick...took my wife to see them at the wuhlheide in Germany and she has been with me to see them since. Once she is there she'll 'get it'.
Better than iso 1 tix for my goat? I think not.
I'm actually taking inventory of some old Simpson's figures that I collected like 10-12 years ago. Judging by some price guides I have seen and what people are selling on eBay, I should be able to pocket $500-700 depending on whether people are buying these. I could totally justify spending a good portion of that on tickets. They are just collecting dust right now.
