Seriously, for it to look good again, it needs a good short cut. It looked great short in the early '00s. Seriously, I hope you consider it.

    naw hair changes as we grow older...
    cut it drastically like that it could come back all fucked up and for sure not as thick as
    10 to15 years ago.

    I agree. Cut it - doesnt have to be short like '00 - just clean it up - and agree with the other poster - shave - that thing is a mess.

    Agreed. I watched some clips of the "Save You" and "Love Boat Captain" videos on iTunes and I did not like Ed's hair in those videos. Great songs, though. I like Ed's current look.

    His look has always been HOT and right now its actually 'trending'... medium long hair and beards are so in right now, even the cover of the Brooks Brothers catalog has a dude with a great head of hair, sporting a nice beard. I look through my fashion mags and more of the same, dudes with medium long hair and groomed beards and when I see that look it reminds me of Eddie.

    Eddie V wears this look the best. I wouldn't change a thing if I were him, he looks great, he is aging so gracefully. And his music just keeps getting better and better. If ain't broke, don't try to fix it.

    you are correct, sir! but the advertising agencies try to emulate that 'scruffy, I don't give a damn' look with the 'groomed' beard... those 9-5 business guys have to play the corporate game y'know... :lol:

    its all good. not every guy can pull off wearing a beard to some jobs (some lines of work frown on that look), you gotta either be a rock star or a banker (ben bernanke, lol) to do whatever the eff you want with your hair and beard.
