The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
High school hoops team near me got suspended from postseason for making a Harlem Shake video. And I still don't know what it is. I feel like knowing stuff about pop culture isn't something to be proud of these days...
Harlem Shuffle was a Stones song. other than that, I have no clue and I don't want to know
It's actually a Bob & Earl song, The Stones were just covering it.
I don't understand all these YouTube trends to be honest. The whole thing is so unoriginal. One person does something original, then thousands of others copy it, it gets old, a new one comes along (it's the same thing, just tweaked a little bit), rinse and repeat. Then come the reaction videos, which is a video of somebody watching a video, which I understand even less. It's like, "that video was so good I want to watch somebody else watch that video and see how they react". They may be fun to make (though I don't really see the entertainment value of gathering some friends to imitate a dance seen on YouTube), but I don't see why they're fun to watch.
As for supadupa, I'd tell my boss that my religion believes cameras steal people's souls, that I'm from some Footloose "no dancing allowed" town, or some shit.
"See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"

And I can't stand THIS shit either (surprised no one's cried "racism!", given the name of this shake business).
And while I'm at it, you can keep your flash mobs too.
Damned trends!

I have not taken a sick day in almost 8 years with the company I work for. This ^^^ would be the first one.
