Anyone here a fan? I'm seeing her for the first time in May and I can't wait. Amazing singer, bar none one of the best voices in music.

    Seeing her in May, so excited! I love the song she did with Slash and her performance at the Kennedy Center Honors blew me away. I may have been crying :oops: :oops:

    That's quite alright. She's really not known in the U.S., which is a shame. If the music industry focused only on sheer talent, everyone would know her. She's one of very few women that can pull off a Led Zeppelin song and knock it out of the park. Plus, she's an amazing songwriter in her own right.

    She's recorded with Slash, Jeff Beck and Joe Bonamassa, it's like she has the street cred without the fame. Crazy.

    I'm glad she's back doing new stuff. Her album with Joe Bonamassa, Don't Explain, is really great. I'm looking forward to her new album, Bang Bang Boom Boom, the title song is catchy as heck. I'm flying to Philly to see her and am excited about it, I've been a fan for a long time and finally getting to see her live.

    Oh yes! I think we talked about that on another thread. That's my emotional reaction to a lot of things these days, when something touches me, the tears come a-flowing!

    Thanks for the awesome Kennedy Center Honors videos! Going to watch them again (and bawl) :mrgreen:
