Personally wouldn't waste the funds....majority of stuff on their website is inactive, stopped roughly 3 years ago....you may get the odd newsletter or update but the band itself is rarely involved...and if you are looking for fan presales or chatroom with other "members", special bonuses like that, that shit stopped a LONG time ago :D

    Maynard hates Tool fans.
He has said so a few times.
    So I stay undercover. ;)

    OP, I wouldn't do it.

Thought about getting the Opiate re-issue today and  $150/each!! :o There's 5 different versions, 1000 made of each, with a limit purchase of 3 each?! They are autographed by the entire band though :?

Limited to 3 of each variant, but you could still buy 3 of all 5.

First one hit ebay 12 minutes ago for double.

Here's hoping the $750k goes to studio time.

It's my favorite to play with. The lenses are so much fun.

    I'm a huge Tool fan.

I bought Version5 which seemes to be sold out now. To expensive to buy more then one copy.

Cool to have it signed by all members!

When I joined the Tool Army in 2002 and I got a photo of the band signed by all members, so happy for that.

I'm not a member of the Tool Fan Club because I'd pretty much heard it wasn't worth the price and $150 for a 6-track CD with some signatures is just ridiculous.

Shipped to Canada is only $7 bucks.
    $149.99 is alot no doubt.

Maynard signed his wine bottles at a local liquor store by my house, and I would have paid that much to get to work.
It was insane. They rarely sign stuff. Maynard doesn't even shake hands.

I paid 150. for Taking back Sunday's autograph, but they also sent me a toy model car hobby kit, with Adam's license. I have yet to put it together, and I probably won't.

I have a very rare Tool mag with very interesting articles. I wish it wasn't copyrighted, and I had more than one copy. I want to share the articles.

Alice in Chains released Jar of Flies... It has 7 songs. How much would you pay for an autographed one?

I wouldn't pay anything for it because I really don't care that much about autographed stuff. And if it was $150 and contained nothing new then I'd think that was ridiculous too.
