    Good riddance? I know he is not the best, but I think I know your current starting QB real well being a Vikings fan. Tavaris (or I like to call him T-Junk) will make it a LONGER season unless they get one in free agency or the draft. Better off with Byron Leftwich or something along those lines. I will agree a little overpriced!

    T-Junk.That is funny.They are looking for another quarterback.Other teams have proven that with proper scouting and drafting a young rookie qb can indeed lead a team at the nfl level.Buffalo mgmt. is incompetent.I have been a bills fan my whole life and now they are on a 13 year no playoff appearance streak.It is the Flutie curse.Doug Flutie was their last qb with any common sense and ability to play.

    yeah.

    they needed to restructure and he opted not to, so they saved $ by letting him walk I guess. They arent using that $ though. Why not let him play in the transition year. Thinking back to all the "QBs" before Fitz, he doesnt look so bad.

    But the decision in the first place to hitch the wagons to him, was made by current management. The same that put the team together they are dismantling. They trade up for Levitre, he becomes the OL they had hoped, and they let him walk, but give a returner a $20 million contract and continue to employ Brad Smith.

    Yeah look at Andrew Luck, RG3, Andy Daulton, etc.... any of these QB's can start. Giving a ton of cash for Mario Williams might not be looking good now. Before him, Shawn Merrian, etc.... Yeah after the days of Jim Kelly, Andre Reed, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, the Bills have been just eh. However, they have been to more Super Bowls in that timeframe than my Vikings.

    As for not spending money, now they have some, neither is my team. We are looking at Greg Jennings, but seriously? Drop Antoine Winfield and trade Percy Harvin and all we do is sign our crappy LB Erin Henderson and Phil Loadholt, WOW!! Our best WR is Jerome Simpson (WTF???). We didn't go after Boldin and now paying the price, but at least we have 2 first round draft pics - GUH!!

    Our teams better start making moves or we will both be playing each other in the toilet bowl 2014!!

    The entire NFL has to stop being fooled by a mediocre QB coming in for an injured starter on a very good team and playing okay as being a superb QB and a definite starter on any other team. I'd list the list but it would be huge.

    Not the case with Fitz but you know what I'm getting at. In Fitz's case he had an okay year by throwing a million passes and putting up some good numbers then Buffalo threw a gazillion dollars at him like he was the second coming of Jesus (Kelly). :)
