They have a new album coming out on April 2 called Indigo Meadow. I've never been disappointed by their work and the dark psychedlic vibe given off.

    I saw them live in 09 from the front row. Love them because they are a psychedelic band who is not forcing their "hippiness" down their audience's throats :lol:

    My brother-in-law and I were driving to a liquor store in DC one night, and he said "You've got to hear Black Angels". He puts on this hard, mesmerizing song which was just intense.

    We pull up to the front of the liquor store, and after hearing this intense music I say to him:
    "You realize, now we need to rob the liquor store".

    He said:
    "...that was the plan the whole time".

    Yeah, I enjoy them very much. They're performing here in SLC in May and I really want to go see the show.

    It will take a while for me to break down the album but I dig at least half the songs off the bat. Makes me wish I was in the 60's at some acid party at the Fillmore West. 8-)

    Awesome band. Heard a couple songs randomly years ago and saw them open for Queens of the Stone Age on the era vulgaris tour and I've been hooked since. Finally got to see them do a headlining show after lolla last year after seeing them as openers a couple times. They've never disappointed with an album or show; seeing em on the 19th and pumped for the new album. Highly suggest seeing them live.

    "Don't Play With Guns" off the new album is a free download on Itunes.. Cool jam... Just got tickets to see them at Black Cat in D.C. on Saturday...

    I'm going to see them in May.

    I still think "Passover" is their best work.

    If somebody wants to get a feel, listen to the song "Science Killer"
