This guy is in the House's 'Committee on Science, Space, and Technology'... with broad jurisdiction and focuses on the importance of space exploration in maintaining American innovation and competitiveness. He chairs the Oversights sub-committee.
    ...
    This guy? Really?
My guess... he is pandering to his numb-nut constituency in Georgia to gain momentum in his upcoming Senate bid. He says crazy shit because he knows that people will vote for him because they acutally believe that crazy shit.

I like hearing from the very dedicated religious who know the Bible as their word and truth.
It's a different opinion and should be respected as that.
Those who agree will support this man those who don't won't. And yes I'm sure
many find this refreshing ... damn refreshing.

I mean, seriously... the guy is a long time politician... he knows how to play it.
And think about.... how many people have you talked that talk about politics... and from the get-go, you KNOW they have only had political concerns for the past 5 years or so? They have no idea how government works and their primary source of political information is what the see on television.
it worked the same way, but in the oposite direction during the Bush years. You had some really fucking politically inept voicing their nonsense opinions... with no basis in reality.
Americans don't have time for journalism... it interferes with their 'American Idol' or 'Celebrity Apprentice' watching time.

I actually found myself watching this twice just to believe it. I love that *nuclear facepalm* that somebody posted on Youtube.

Somebody give that man a popsicle and send him home and tell him everything will be alright.
