Hi guys.

You might have read my post on the sound issues at the Wembley show. If so, please go and have a look at my blog. I posted a few photos and a few things from the show that I scanned. There is a few messages to people I met there and a request for photos of the show (my camera was confiscated).

Thanks

Did you get your camera back though? I always wondered about what happens if a camera is confiscated - you do get them back don't you?

they gave me a ticket with a number that i had to bring back after the show, so i got it back. i'll defenately take my camera again, i'm not worried if yhey decide to keep it locked up during the show.

Which camera do you have out of interest?

That reviewer was a gobshite. Seriously, if a band isn't either the Artic Monkey's or Bruce Springsteen they garner absolutely no respect. I'm not just against his view of Pearl Jam but he's such a typical music journalist. Only the 'in fashion' music or the 'too classic to be fucked with' music gets any respect. I bet this guy will give some outstanding reveiw of the next Razorlight or Kaiser Cheif gig. 'Snigger' at the 'protracted solos'... what a fool. Listen to some real Rock N' Roll. Pearl Jam are among the few bands still playing who do justice to a genre that should be A) good lyrics B) good musicianship and C) anti-trend.

And between 'Vs.' and 'Pearl Jam' there were 5 incredible albums which branched out artistically, defying what Oasis or whatever shite music this guy associates with as the defining music of the mid-nineties.

Sorry i just hate all pop music journalists....

    thanks for reading!

EDIT: I just realised that people who haven't read that article scanned on the thread starters blog probably think I'm absolutely bonkers... Excellent blog by the way!
    JUST PLAY THE F***ING NOTE!!!

aha, thought so. my wife came home with an even worse review yesterday. the guy is basically calling them has-beens and said that people cringed at the stupid lyrics of No More. the show received two out of 5 stars. i was understandibly rather upset.

they were obviously the people who were too jealous coz they weren't at the show :(

i think the lyrics in that song are really powerful, even more so coz we know they really come from the heart
