The running orders have been released....and PJ get an extra 20 minutes than the other headlining acts!! (You'll notice that there are only 9 acts on PJ's days rather than ten)

  • COME ON.......they've been breaking curfews for years and have no probs paying exuberant amounts of money to make up for it. They won't make an exception for Reading/Leeds!!I can well see them playing till midnight especially with Reading as it's the last night.

THAT OUGHTA MAKE UP FOR THE LACK OF UK-DATES-PROPER!!
  • They have only got an extra ten mins at reading, Leeds is 20 mins
    Astoria 20/04/06, Leeds 25/08/06, Prague 22/09/06, Wembley 18/06/07,
    Dusseldorf 21/06/07, Manchester 17/08/09, London 18/08/09, LA 06/10/09, LA 07/10/09.

Ain't gonna be any middle anymore.
  • Well...seeing as the Leeds festival site is in the middle of nowhere, I can reckon on them breaking what, if any, curfews there are there. Reading, being pretty much in the town, may be a little different.

And breaking curfews, in an arena, in the US, is different to doing it at an open air festival.

Either way, I prefer the slightyl shorter sets. I aint one for those Grateful dead three hour meandering Gorge type of shows, I want a prolonged burst of rock n roll!

    Gonna be cool, whatever.

PS...anybody figure out the parking situation at Leeds? How much? Shuttles to site and back? CLosing time? etc

Not sure about shuttles. I'll be driving and the only thing I know is that there is absolutely NO ACCESS from westbound traffic into the site. So make sure you're travelling the right direction or its a long way round

Confirmed... Reading NEVER breaks it's curfew (They struggle with the license anyway, curfew breaks are the perfect excuse for the locals to wreak havoc). I've been going on and off since 1999, and not once has a headliner over-run... not even Greenday (who are known to run long on shows)

Yes, I have been to some Pearl Jam concerts. Several of them.
