From videos I've seen, he doesn't try to reach the high notes. If he did it at every show, it would probably kill his voice. Doesn't matter to me, I'm excited to see them in May! :D

Because he is like a whole foot shorter than Chris.

I had no idea Chris was so tall. 6'3" ? Wow, I thought he was about 5'9".
I know Ed is shorter, but he was behind the drums in that video?

I learn something new everyday! Chris Cornell is surprisingly tall.

When I met Eddie after his Hartford solo show, he was just about the same height as me, maybe just a tad shorter than me. I said to myself: "How does a man as big a name as Eddie, is my height?"

i've always thought ed is a better singer than cornell
i've never seen sg live (will fix that in may) but all live footage i have seen hasn't been very good
audioslave did a live dvd from cuba, i'd say less than half of it is worth hearing

    this was not that bad
    not nearly enough ed tho
fuck 'em if they can't take a joke

How is this not enough ED?

Chris and Eddie have different ranges.
Chris can sing as low as Eddie but not as long.
I have lost friends over this question.

They are both really great vocalists. I just happen to like one better than the other.

In the first Video you can hear Ed... You can't see him until the end. He overpowers Chris in that song. I thought that is why they kept separate when performing.

In my link, I'm sure Soundgarden was there? But...

You can really see why we are all here. ;)

The Outshined video actually documents when Ed first started whispering into Matts ears to come join his band.

    :lol::lol:

But Matt still plays both bands. He won't choose. Such a gentleman.... But both tours are suffering...

They should tour together... And Save us all!
