can only set to automatic subscription renew now?

do you HAVE TO have auto renew now?
i don't see where i can just pay for a year.
10c membership

    at the bottom, there is a do not renew button. not sure what happens if you click it.

    after i paid my last fee, i went back and changed my CC to 0000000000000000000000
    81 is now off the air

    good idea. so it won't throw an error if you enter 0000---...? cool. i'll try that.

    10c hasn't made me mad in years, or ever really. but this is wrong!
    i mean i count on people not renewing so i can move up a spot. hehehe :) this makes sure people renew.

    plus i don't like my CC sitting on a site like that.

    oh, maybe it did work. it's throwing red errors but says "Your subscription is currently being charged to your card XXXX0000. To update your credit or debit card information, please enter the new details below"

    i think i'm all set.
