Come on now, who's got something to say? :)
I haven't got a clue who would do it. Anyone?

The Black Crowes and Velvet Revolver have been mentioned on the Black Crowes message board as rumored openers for PJ in Europe.

Finally, someone else who can't stand MMJ. I don't get all the love that people here have for them.

I'd like Idlewild to do it.
They have a new album out in March and have toured with PJ in America, so they have a chance I guess.

I'm diggin the idea of VR or Sonic Youth but I doubt they would. I say now, that if it's Razorlight, blood will indeed be spilled lol

http://www.theanswer.ie - these guys are pretty good.

The Black Crowes would be awesome, not so sure about VR. Kind of lost interest in their album after a while.

Electric Eel Shock would be good too.

that's mostly the Yanks...most Europeans hated or at best didn't care for them (of the many I had that discussion with)...but for some reason all the Americans seem to like them

I doubt he's do it though after what happened in Dublin.

I don't think he ever particularly wanted to do it. The first thing he did when he came on stage was apologise and say he knew it wasn't the right crowd for him.

Velvet Revolver hehe they will give PJ a bad name for sure.. we need a classy good band like PJ normally open with...

I say Idlewild, MMJ, KOL, Sonic Youth, The Arcade Fire.... any of them would be amazing.

I feel so bad for poor poor Paddy-boy! :o

I mean, I can't remember any of the songs anymore.. and he really isn't my cup of tea.. but people could've been nicer to him.

Actually to be fair, after he played a few songs i got into him. His band were good and some of his songs had a good feel to them. He's definitely much better live than when I've heard him on the radio.

I also thought He took his beating quite well too... hehehehe

  • Fu Manchu are touring around this time, so I'd like them to stick around & do some shows.

Chris Cornell would obvioucly be amazing.

i read an interview thingy with Idlewild a few years back (after they opened for them last time) and if memory serves they werent very complimentary... not rude about PJ but not entirely enthused by them either.

i hope its not them anyway... maybe 2 good songs in total
