  • I am the taper of that show. I apologise for the sound-something weird was going on with either the mic-ing of Matt's kick (unlikely), or the FOH didn't have that sound at the desk. The entire show was ear-splittingly loud, which, as a taper, i like, because it drowns out audience chatter and makes better quality recordings (9 times out of 10). In this instance, though, it was loud to the point of distortion. I have taped gigs by many different acts since i started taping in 1998 (Brad supporting Ben Harper in Adelaide, folks!), and at gigs all around the world, and Wembley Arena, along with the Hammersmith Apollo (also in London), are two of the shittiest FOH sounding rooms I've ever taped in (and i've taped multiple gigs and acts in both). I taped this show from, i dunno, maybe 4 rows back, 6?, 10?, can't remember, but i was house left. No doubt someone still has the original text file i supplied with the torrent...i doubt i do! Anyhow, not one of my finest recordings by a looooooong shot, but it is still the only one we have.

The whole '07 tour (accept for Lollapalooza (Flac & MP3)) wasn't officially released on CD, Flac, MP3 etc .. Basecamp did the '05 & '06 tours. '07 was silent. Kufala took over from '08 and on wards. Many year's back I heard rumors they would release the '07 tour on CD, Flac, MP3 etc.. We'll see ...
