Who doesn't like it.....5 year olds like it, 95 year olds like it. Unlike fruit loops or ovaltine, i'd say it's a well rounded all aged liked food.

have it every morning breakfast, with some raisins and brown sugar... good way to start off the day!

(although this week I've had a break from the norm - parents are visiting and made homemade bread.... couple slices of homemade bread toast is just spectacular in the morning)....

because people ALWAYS put stupid disgusting raisins in them! NO RAISINS IN MY COOKIES! :nono: it's like a little rat turd surprise in the cookie...gross.

When I was growing up my parent really ruined oatmeal, it was all gummy, gluey and gloppy. Couldn't stand it. I learned to put more water and milk in there to make it nice, smooth and creamy. Totally in love with steel cut, but I get lazy and it takes so long to make.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

raisins & brown sugar in the oatmeal...yummy
also i like honey in my oats. i get both, the old fashioned oats & the instant. instant works good as a night snack. add a handful of trail mix to a bowl of oats & you're kickin ass
