Looking for a nice Benny that I can just play. I've never even seen one in person and hope this is enough to make a trade happen. As long as the vinyl doesn't skip I'm good, it will be loved and played ofter. The Into The Wild is nice and the record & book are in great shape.

Thanks

  • Pretty sweet signed and framed ITW!!!
Should be an easy trade for a "spinner" Benny.
    Good luck :D

Thanks guys I love the ITW!!! It's really nice, but I think it's my only trade piece of equal value.

    Hey dude!

    Very cool item.

If you had this signed by EV yourself, I would suggest not making this trade.

If so, this will have much greater long term sentimental value to you than a spinner benny.

You can save $20 a week and get that spinner by Christmas AND keep your ITW gem.

    Just my 2 cents.

Good luck with whichever route you take.

Where did you get the sig? Did you meet Ed or was this like a charity auction.

  • ROBLEY!!!! DO NOT do this! PLEASE...

    Benny is overrated ;) :?
ITW Signed by Ed is 100 times more rare and its SO fucking beautiful. I do question the authenticity of it though being as how those 2 sigs don't really match up there ;)

Really though.. Don't do it. Unless I find the spinner Benny. Then you swap that fucker with me... Ha!

Yes Ed signed a few things for some of us in Dallas when he was here. I know he did the same in Houston & a few other spots. I know I could sale the record & just buy a Benny but that defeats what I'm trying to do here. I'd rather trade on the board with a good PJ fan than go the eBay route. If nothing comes of this I'll just keep it ;). Thanks for all the positive comments

    I agree with Timmy..

I remember you were so happy with it when you got it. And I was insanely jealous.

I'm still very happy with it Sumay, it's the coolest piece of signed memorbilia I've ever owned. It's also signed by my 4th favorite person ever (Jesus, my wife, Mr. McCready then ED  ) Like I said before I have to at least throw this out to see if I get any interest, Benny $$$ is just to rich for my blood ;).

I"ll take the advise of the wise on here if no luck though and try and put back some money each month to see if I could swing something else down the road.

TRUTH!! I'm still upset you couldn't get him to sign an LBC for me ;)
That's just too fucking sweet of an lp and sig man!
There's only ONE other EV signed piece I've EVER seen that I would want over that... And it's the Benny ;)

I love the subtleness of EV' signature!

Very dignified.....really adds to the "artsiness" of the piece.

  • just my $0.02.....getting something like that signed by Ed in person is priceless. Benny's are a product. This item is LIFE.

but hey, whatever you want to do, is your business. But saving $20 a week till christmas and you have a benny? that's a pretty easy layaway plan to follow! it's really funny that more people don't do this who are always saying they will never own one. Just save up a little at a time, and eventually you will. You don't have to win the lottery to get it!

Actually, I think you should gift it to me as a birthday gift this year since Ed is only your 4th favourite person in the world. Do your kids know that they didn't even make the cut?:lol:

  • Dude! I've collected some expensive records of diff. genres (see Funk/Northern Soul) a long time. Don't trade this away. You'll likely never have that opportunity or item again! A Benny can be had for cash. A lot of cash, indeed, but money is a fluid, ever-changing crock of shit. As we say in the funk 45 world about things like this: "I'd trade my mother for that!"
