Like. Literally. The same notes fretted.
As others have said, he is paying slightly looser, but the fret hand positioning is identical to the tabbed version?
What specific part are you in confusion over?
If I opened it now would you not understand?
:corn:
Given to fly is actually in dadgad, so if you are familiar with a standard tuning version of the tab then his fingering will look funny.

I'm pretty sure he is playing that fairly much as it is written.
?
I guess I should clarify, since I think it may actually be part of your confusion.
Mike is playing in dadgad (not just double drop d, tune the b to a too!)
But stone, like in most cases is playing in standard tuning.
Often times someone who is writing a tab will try to compress two guitar parts in to one tab line.
If you we're reading a ( particularly an older) tab, it is likely you were seeing a fairly accurate paraphrasing of the notes actually played by two guitars. Maybe you were seeing just what stone plays, and this is throwing you off. Or maybe you were seeing an attempt at tabbing what mike plays but in standard tuning. Which may throw you off even more. I dunno. But I do know that watching that video, and reading the tab, I'm pretty sure mike IS playing what is marked as his lines in that tab:

You can see the way he is barring the 7 and hammering on the 9. And you can see him using his middle to hold down the 10 on a and hit the 9 on the high e with his pointer(?notsure)(sorry on iPad and lost the video page).
(That is the line marked "pre-chorus mike" and you can see him hammering on and pulling off between the 9 and 10 on the high e as well)
If I opened it now would you not understand?
Thanks pj buddies
