Wrigley Field was built in the early 1900's so it is not state of the art.

If you see a ghost with a championship ring, it's likely, that player played for the Bears.

The park opened in 1914, when America and Americans were much, much different. Back then, we were satisfied if we ate something we didn't have to personally kill. So there is no glass-walled restaurant down the third-base line. No micro-brewery. And no garlic fries. But even though the concessions are run by the dreaded and unappetizing Aramark company, the variety of food has improved in recent years -- chicken sandwiches, calzones, pizza and mai-tais -- and the prices are reasonable.

    what a find....
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

These are other peoples comments I'm posting but the highlighted part seems to be prevalent in a lot of reviews.

The lines are all terribly long. The parking is impossible so you are forced to take crowded trains. The field looked chewed up. The staff was the rudest I've ever seen! The food was way overrated and expensive. The beer was Bud or Old Style, yuk! The bathrooms were putrid, and many of the fans were obnoxious drunks or tourists yapping on cell phones.

I remember watching this game and being blown away

July 22, 1997: Maddux again dazzled his former team, the Cubs, in a 76-pitch complete game victory.
  • "Bad team.
    Bad stadium
    Bad bathrooms
    Bad beer prices."

    Wait

    I think everyone knew that
  • Moises Alou and Kerry Wood are among the former Cubs players who admitted to peeing on their hands regularly to try and avoid/repair blisters.

49 over the minimum. And it wasn't a perfect game.

If that game doesn't sum up the last 100 years of Cubs history, I don't know what does.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
