Good for Mike!, this story reminds me of the one of the two Amercian girls who were detained after landing in Israel and wouldn't let the security guards have there e-mail passwords.

I'm not into conspiracy theories...but, they ended up being held for only 1.5 hours huh? And good Ole MM get to be the hero by making a phone call to the lawyers (seems strange that the guy coming over wouldn't have had a contact name of a lawyer there...really seems strange).

    Nice publicity stunt. ;)

Excuse me? I hate everything muslim related? Please show me where that is true. You can't so shut the hell up.

The fact is I hate everything Michael Moore related! So get it straight. ;) I was joking around about Michael Moore making it a publicity stunt. And I am truly surprised that Michael Moore would be the 1 number this guy had and called. Seems strange.

I've been called racist for less! That word's begun to lose its meaning due to over/incorrect/quick-trigger use.

(I was gonna call MM the Gloria Allred of the documentary industry, but...guess I won't now  )

First off, you're right, I shouldn't have made it sound like you're a racisit. Secondly, telling me to shut the hell up, not gonna happen.

Yup. Only 1.5 hours.....and if MM doesn't show up he is on a plane back to Turkey.
  • Wonder where this security was on Sept 11 a few years back? Oh yeah, that one they wanted to let happen!

Oh wait, I think they threatened him with being sent to Palestine! At least some people in Hollywood have balls and stand up to the machine. Even if these people are MM.

When it comes to calling me a racist I will certainly tell you to shut up because it's not true. And that is all I meant by that.

As for retracting your statement, thank you. As I said, I guess not a well timed MM joke on my part.

Dude, I'd love for you to tell me to shut up but not while hiding behind your computer screen. I won't say anymore as to not end up like DS. You may or may not be a racist but TO ME you come off as hating Muslims. MY OPINION ONLY....

Dude, if you call me a racist to my face I would tell you to shut up. Nothing macho about that. That make you wanna get violent? It's a pretty serious accusation that I don't take kindly to. .

You opinion is yours and it is completely wrong, but you go ahead an own that. You have every right to be wrong.

As for the movie itself, I haven't seen it but it does look very interesting. Form what I know reminds me a little of one of my favorite documentaries....I believe it was called Death in Gaza.

I've noticed through the years, that a person being a 'prick' can easily be confused with being a 'racist', not that cincy is any of those things ;) (I know you like the wink cincy)

and to charge someone with racism is indeed a very serious charge. We don't know what's deep inside a persons heart.

and so what if someone is a racist, or has some weird prejudice, fighting them does not solve that disease, fighting and threats are a disease within itself.

One that we must try and rid our own selves from, so we can progress forward in a better way.

education, patience and empathy go a long way in helping someone 'see the light'. Violence begets violence, hate begets hate.

We need to learn to let things go, or our worst enemy with surely win. You know what that great enemy is? Our own ignorance and ego's.

Those are just some feelings I have.

and I will personally vouch for Cincy not being a racist or a 'bad' person. From what I know of him anyway, as I've had enough interactions with him through the years to know that little bit of truth.

I wasn't talking violence, you told me to shut up and I said easy to say that hiding behind a computer. I retracted to the racist remark and you couldn't leave it at that. You had to have final say. That's fine. It's obvious you and I butt heads on a lot of topics. And you're right, for all I know you're NOT a racist. I could careless if you like Muslims or not. I made a comment, retracted it, and alls well in the community.

And cincy, def watch the doc. It'll open your eyes more. That is all have a great day

Ok. You know, I bet this would have been about a 2 second issue if we're were talking face to face. I think we both read a bit more into some comments.

    I will watch it.

Please post again, I will ignore it. I just don't want to look like I have to have the final word! ;) I just had more to say!!
