Reading another post, about REM, Inspired me to this.
But this album... The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, Is just Amazing.
I remember when it came out reading a review, and one comment was along the lines of how perfect this album was, and how everytime you listen to it, you have a new favorite song, which is very true.
I can't say i have one stand out track from this album, it is as i said difficult to chose one fav. depends on your mood that day you listen.
and if you read this and DON'T own this album, then i Highly recommend you check it out.

I agree, if you don't have this album then buy/steal/stream it.
It's hard to pick out highlights on this album, all the songs are so strong.
I love most, I guess, the screaming at the end of No Speak No Slave when it sounds like he's throwing punches and then My Morning Song (favorite track on the album) kicks off immediately---and we all know, who know, how epicly epic the buildup and climax of that song is. It leaves you lying on the floor, spent.
One of my all-time favorite albums, with one of my all-time favorite songs (Thorn in My Pride) and one of my all-time favorite lines.....
"If music got to free your mind....just let it go, baby, let it go"
OH god yeah, i freaking love that
 Wha? You've never heard Southern Harmony? Egad!!! Run, don't walk to your 8 track player!!
(Amorica is my favorite too, but the Harmony kicks ass. Enjoy!).
Saw The Black Crowes in Champaign when they were supporting this album. One of the best shows that I have ever been too.
Guarenteed you'll come back with some comment along the lines of----
" Where the fuck has this album been all my life!"
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.
Crowes are soo underrated.
It was a great listen - though I still think Amorica is my favorite and their best LP to date...
Tough call, but I think TSHAMC is their best. Such a powerhouse record. Has a handful of their best rockin tunes and a couple of their best more laidback pieces.
Amorica kinda lacks in the classic raunchy Crowes for me, but the mellow stuff is tops. Hard to argue with Cursed Diamond, Wiser Time, and Descending in that area. As a whole album I still might rank it behind 3 Snakes and One Charm. That ones got such a unique vibe running through it.
I don't think they've put out anything close to a bad album, though, so it's really splitting hairs.
