this vacuum that we've created
must be filled
this parlour of emptiness
that will surely kill
all hopes, ambition, and beauty

a stillborn way of thinking
a defiance of liberty
a cluster of negativity
brings the eggshell castle
down

a true believer of a love
that prevails
beyond the imaginary lines
we place around ourselves
beyond the soul we cover with sickly skin

a memory beyond pain
beyond the extension of life
and death
suffering and happiness
beyond "self"

i throw this delima to the sea
its bottle vessel will surely
bring it back to me
but not just yet
not now

my closing chapter is yet to be written
though its hovering somewhere near
in the darkness of my mind
waiting to see the light
waiting to end the fight

i'll fill this vacuum with faith
pen to paper will save me as it has in the past
in my flu soaked dreams
i saw the future
and you were there

you were all there.
