Men's leggings becoming new fashion trend

Bill Mitchell has been tall and thin all of his life because of his genes.

It's another reason it was hard for him to find a pair of jeans to fit him just right. So, he started making them for himself and for friends.

"It's just kind of taken off ever since then," Mitchell said.

And what started in the basement of his parents' home, is now his own company and Greenville store, Billiam Jeans.

"If you want straight leg we'll give you those. If you want skinny, we'll give you those," Mitchell said.

There is also a new fashion trend called meggings, which are leggings for men. Men wear them under shorts or with long shirts that Mitchell said is making its way into high fashion.

A FOX Carolina crew bought a pack online called Adrian for Men. The label describes them as men tights.

"For me, to put on a pair of meggings would definitely be a stretch, no pun intended," Mitchell said.

So, on Thursday, his friend Delvin Choice tried them on, who had never heard of meggings before. Choice said he often wears skinny jeans for a more European fit.

"It just looks like a real clean fit, versus like wearing real baggy clothes," Choice said.

But, he tried on the meggings to see how they would fit.

"They're very comfortable, it feels like I have nothing on. I see why girls like them," Choice said.

However, he said meggings aren't for him.

"If they have some fitted ones that are not like flesh tights, maybe I could something with that," Choice said.

So, for now he'll stick to his custom Billiam Jeans.
