    I often skip the opening act but never when it is Glen. Hope he rolls through Boston on his own this year.

    "I wish dude filming would stop singing 'cause wrecks the song" but he and Glen could teach Ed the lyrics indeed. Glen's version definitely has some Springsteen in it.

    Could be reaching for the stars, but...I'm thinking Glen Hansard at Metro 30th Anniversary...Ed's a good friend of Glen's...Glen's been there for Ed...Ed's from Chicago (Evanston)...no obvious tour commitments at this point...formerly the Cabaret Metro, where PJ has played previously, and only two blocks north of Wrigley Field...

    Would it be possible that EV might make an appearance? "I wish that Ed would play with Glen, to do so would be awesome!"

    Great hearing/seeing him do the whole song. Thanks for sharing. I so hope I catch him do some kind of PJ tribute or tag at least when I see him with The Frames 3 times in March!! :-)

    My daughter and I ran into Glen at the Memphis airport the morning after Eddie's solo show there this past November (he and a buddy were ditching the tour bus for a few days before rejoining the tour in Florida). There was hardly anyone around, and we were able to talk with him for a few minutes before going through security. He was so nice -- and so humble! This guy won an Academy Award, and he said that he finally felt like he belonged on the tour! We pointed out that the crowd loved him & gave him a standing ovation, and he said it was only because he played an Eddie song. He seemed to really like it when we told him that everyone was raving about his performances on this forum after the shows. After he went through security, he turned around and said "Wait-- I want to give you these." He then gave us each an Eddie guitar pic. Amazing -- he was giving us gifts for being fans! We should have been giving him gifts for entertaining us!
