Apologies if there a million threads like this, but is anyone in band or do a solo act thing?

I thought it would be kind of cool to hear what kind of musical projects other Pearl Jam fans around the globe are involved in.

Here’s the rules:

Try to describe your musical project and welcome constructive comments and/or praise where appropriate. Also, post a link if you’ve got a page or two!

Since 2005 I have played bass in a Glasgow based alt rock band called Southpaw. It’s basically a hobby, but it’s one we really enjoy.

  • Hi

I think this thread is a great idea. Give it some time, perhaps others will reply.
At first I thought; 'what's this?' The intro is making me a bit confused - Then it all gets started and I listen carefully. I'm actually amazed by the feeling I get by listening. I want to hear more and I'm hooked by the sound. Your music is tagged with; alternative rock, grunge, stoner rock and so on. But your band actually reminds me of the sludge metal band Acid Bath which is one of my favorite bands. This is a huge thumbs up from me personally -whether you like Acid Bath or not. I don't know if it's intentionally - but the vocal is a bit hard to hear at times. I like it somehow - but it also makes me want to read the lyrics. I would really like to read the lyrics.

Tell your vocalist that he did an awesome job on The Door. Much attitude and devotion - sounds passionate. I say this because I do vocals myself. All in all - Great sound. I like it a lot. I wish I had a band. I'm sorry I can't exchange with something. :corn:

I'll go listen to some more Southpaw now :D

Our band is called Sunset Regime. We are a 4 piece rock band from the North East of England and have been together for over a year.

This is our 3rd track, and it’s called “Whisky”. Have a listen and please let me know your thoughts. Cheers
