    This is a common glitch with google calendar. 9 out o of 10 times, the user must also phone the person you want to extend an invite. Hash it out over the telephone.

    Why can't we dismiss any thread we'd like to dismiss? Why can we only dismiss announcement threads? There are so many popular post-padding threads that we have to weed through to get to the threads that have actual discussions in them.
