the stars are you
and you
and you

walking outside like at night
arms up through the hands of fingerprints receiving
energy if you want it
this is you anyway
the sky
the low light
the damp on your arm
the smell that you green
the sparks the dust
is you
looking at stars
eyes from which they came
the travelled back look
to meet here again
the music of the slide and the spin
the roll and the love
his sweaty hair wrapped around the hug
the one that you love
that guy that when you look at the sky and travel in mind
you travel to him
well, that's love
you'll probably always remember that
maybe through tears or through tears no more
what is young is wet
three beat four
what is yours will return
traveling straight lines of sight
the curvature of the earth
our sight bends beholding
the night stars and you
into light
the blanket when at first you adore
