PLEASE play Dublin for Paddys weekend!

Or any other time... I'm not fussy... BUT we are having a BIG meet up of Pearl Jam fans coming from all over the world simply because of our one connection, Pearl Jam! The party will mainly be Friday, 16th and Saturday, 17th March so if Pearl Jam were to play around that time, it would be absolutely fantastic... and I'm sure they'd love to sample the whole Paddys day atmosphere too, they'd love it. So please please please please please play Dublin Paddys weekend :) . We have people coming from England, Finland, Norway, Canada, possibly the USA, Austria... I know there's others!

    :D Exactly!!!!!! :D Their spouses would love it... and little Olivia would have a great time! Lots of street performances, fireworks, just general street party... it's brilliant!

    Secret show would be excellent :D The venue in rathfarnham is a pretty cool place.. holds about 500 or something and I saw David Kitt there once, was great!

    If the thread was titled "St Patricks Day" then they might understand it better... Paddys weekend is a shit title... but other than that I propose a toast to this happening (even though it wont) :)
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    nah.. i'm expecting PJ to playing over here in May and/or June.. I believe they are strongly rumoured for a festval in Poland at start of June!

    plus Ireland is full of ... eh... Irish folk :)

    if i knew for definite PJ werent playing then i'd come over to Dublin... although i have to say Paddys day would be my last choice... busy as fuck, hotels filled to the brim with people with too much money, i looked at the flights and as soon as you put that weekend in it goes up by £100... fuckers :(

    i mean if there are 12-15 of you meeting up isnt it going to be hard keeping youse all together? will the pubs let groups of that size come in if they are busy as fuck?
