Who's going?

We are Gopher season ticket holders, so we'll be there in the Minnesota section. Can't wait...weather looks like it's going to hold up (fingers crossed).

    It looks cool, but honestly, I worry about the sight lines...my seats are in the corner and the ice is like 100 feet from the stands. Then again, this may be one of those "get-drunk-happy-to-be-there" type of things...

    Upper deck tickets for $15 if you're interested. I have no clue if there are any available anymore.

    I have a ticket for the games but I probably won't be able to use it. my son has a hockey game at 12:45 that day. (Maybe I can catch the second game.)

    But no matter where your seats are, you'll have a better view of the ice than I did from the bleachers at Wrigley for the Winter Classic in 2009.

    Gophers - Badgers at 3:30pm. WCHA > CCHA.

    I have seats in section 128, row 12, so it looks like I'm sort of a ways away (128 is in the corner). Ah well, I'm excited regardless.

    I dunno. I think you got a pretty good seat.

    Incidentally, I've skated on that Soldier Field ice a couple times and it was absolutely terrible. I hope they get it fixed by Sunday.

    But maybe it's fitting that the ice should be bad, since the turf is always ranked as one of the worst in the NFL.

    very cool event to see.
    I couldnt procure a ticket to the winter classic in philly last year,
    but anywhere in my neighborhood ,
    I would really try to go.
