...would it even matter?
In other words, would my tickets end up being that much better than every other schmoe who uses ticketmaster?
Or would I just be way too buried in terms of numbers?

Kill Fascists.... or at least make them realize what they are.
they might let you sit on the lawn or something
seriously i knew someone who joined this year and the ten club basically told them at the window that they ran out of tickets and to wait too see if there was anything at will call
then they were told they would get a refund
so fuck it ticketmaster would be better
cmon of course your tickets would be good
at least in the first 500 to 600 seats pending show location
there are like 25 thousand seats in these arenas
plus you save service charges
get your ass in their
no more shows
For indoor venues, it's well worth it. Had 10 club tickets to the DC show and had fantastic seat 15 rows or so up off the front corner of the stage on Stone's side.
For big outdoor pavillions (Camden for me) it was something of a waste as I was in the last 5 rows of the pavillion for the Saturday show. Had a better time at the Sunday show with my ticketmaster lawn seat as I could at least watch the video screen (and it's only like 20 or 30 feet further back from my back of the pavillion seats from the previous night anyway.
In sum, the side of stage seating indoors gets you good seats even with a high number, for the pavillions, it's not much better (if better at all) than what you get with ticketmaster. Not to mention the chance of getting good seats released on TM or at the box office the morning of the show (or going the scalper/ebay route).

San Diego 06.....Do I want some more? I said FUCK YEAH!!!!
depends where ya see em, but I never had a bad 10C seat & you have first crack dnot have to worry about getting tics or any hassle, besides its fun as hell pickin up your tics the day of the show : )
happy they blew you away : )
Yes, it's def. worth it. My friend joined last year and he had real nice seats for his show. You're not gonna get passed a wine bottle or grab a pick, but you'll see the show nicely. And won't be behind the stage.
I'm glad I don't remember my old number(s). I'd prob. pull my hair out.
But I did get one closeup show, sixth row center and the memory of that will carry me a lonnnnng time ... and it'll have to!
