There are no more appropriate openers for this show than McCready's Star Spangled Banner or EV's All the Way. Outside of that I'd love to hear them open with Oceans.
I can't think of a more energy killing song than the Star Spangled Banner. Musically its an awful song. Pearl Jam is about kick ass music and the SSB is definitely not kick ass. I respect your opinion, but it's a concert not a baseball game. Next thing you know people will be requesting that they open with Oh Canada in London.
