    Just did a quick shovel of the deck/back steps for the pooch... only about 2" of snow and heavy as a mother...bad feeling about power lines in this.

    About 5" down here in RI. It is very heavy. Power has gone off/on 10 times now.

    Just went outside. I guess I'm sitting right in the heavy band now. I'm just glad ifs all snow right now. Really fluffy. Guess I should lat my 8 week old pup just pee on the rug. :|

    And yes, it was a truck that was plowing. Apparently the blade is on it, which must make it a bit challenging to tow it away.

    Logan Airport and the entire T are shut down today. Driving ban in effect until at least tonight, possibly tomorrow. I don't ever remember it being this bad before.

    I was wondering about that too. I don't have tix but with the T not operating and the driving ban in effect, I guess it's at everyones own risk. I wouldn't risk a $500 fine to go to a hockey game, personally, but with the shortened season, the B's can't afford to postpone any games.

    I'm expecting the travel ban to be lifted by then. I'll probably have to pony up for the North Station garage, but it might be worth it for tonight's game. If the travel ban is still in effect, and there's no T service, I can't see how they can play this game.

    I'll be curious to see if anyone actually gets a citation for driving during the travel ban. It's my opinion they just threw it out there to keep the idiots off the road, I can't see cops pulling people over & issuing citations right now. I could be wrong though, and am not interested in tempting it!
