Oversaturated. It's way too much for my liking.
New PJ album and too much pumpkin beer - not my bag...
your bag stinks.
there was something off with the one i had tonight. didn't taste right.www.myspace.com0 -
MARLON FUCKING BYRD.
Couldn't be happier.......

2 yr/16M - that's actually not that bad for a guy to fill the void until.....well, until they figure what the hell will be a decent long-term plan in the OF.
Could've done without the 2nd year, but it's definitely not killing them payroll-wise as opposed to signing someone like Cruz would do.
I'm assuming there's going to be money dedicated towards the 'pen/catcher not named Ruiz (hopefully) - feel like this a preceding move to something else.0 -

Wow another guy that never walks will fit in real well with last years Phillies team.
I guess the Philly front office really doesn't care about OBP.380 -

I'm assuming you're a Red Sox fan - I think. Please justify Johnny Gomes like Tim McCarver did. HE'S A WINNER.
It's not a good signing, but it's not a terrible signing.0 -

I am a Sox fan. Gomes is making a lot less than Marlon Byrd.
Don't worry though I think every free agent signing by all MLB teams will be a bad signing in the offseason with all the extra money the teams have from the TV deal.380 -

I'm just saying it's surely a hell of a lot less than Beltran, Choo, Ellsbury, Cruz, and Granderson are going to get.
And at 2 years, what else are they going to do? They suck, there's not much coming up through the system to take his place, and they're not getting committed to a lot of money (relatively speaking).
Like I said - it's not great, it's also not terrible.0 -
Also, apparently Chooch got offered 2yrs/20M. Now THAT is highway robbery.
Wouldn't be surprised of this is Ruben bidding against himself.0 -

Yeah, I have no idea. I think the problem here is it being conceived as "brown-for-bats". I have a feeling there's some validity to it but that's more than just Brown going.0 -

mostly being shot down up here ...But by Wednesday morning the rumour was already being played down.
“just to clear something up,” CBS Sports baseball columnist Jon Heyman tweeted before 7 a.m. “#blueJays arent trading jose bautista for dom brown. not even close.”
Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos never comments publicly on rumours, but a source close to the team told the Star on Wednesday morning there’s little to the rumour.0 -

Yeah, it's probably all BS, but who knows. I'm just trying to pretend that things are gonna get better before they get (any) worse.0 -
Yours truly will be sitting courtside tonight watching towson beat temples' ass.
Amaro is so bad. Only good thing about the byrd move is that he didn't surrender a draft pick. Other than that, it's just another stupid move by the worst GM in philadelphia sports history0 -

Apparently the Phils might be the team that offered Chooch 2yrs/20M. Jesus fucking god damn christ. I think I know where Amaro lives....might have to make a visit...0
