Soundgarden Minneapolis

Just returned from a stellar performance tonight in Minneapolis. Chris talked about how the cold and blowing snow was "perfect" and "exactly what he wanted"....then launched into Outshined...overall I thought they sounded really good and the high points really brought me back to their hay day...any others in attendance tonight?

    Happy to say I was there as well. What a great show, crowd was really into it and they played a good mix of songs from all their albums. Ty Cobb was my highlight of the night for sure. Chris got really into that one and was just a monster on vocals. Also VERY HAPPY to say I got a signed poster by the band! Some other fan told me that they have about 10 signed posters in the stack of 150 that they sell each night. The guy next to me got a signed vinyl as well so just a heads up to anyone going to any shows on this tour going forward!
    8 PJ Shows, 1 Eddie show. Never can see too many.

    I was supposed to be there.......but my buddy had a family wedding same night, so no travel for us. :cry:

    My wife and I had a great time at the show. CC's vocals were hard to hear on many of the songs, but everything still sounded great. The balcony was rocking up and down during some of the songs people were jumping up and down so much.

    I was there with my gf. I had contracted the stomach flu the night before but was not going to miss the concert. I got drugged up, drank plenty of four dollar waters and had a great time.

    Many people were complaining afterward about no black hole sun. Who cares, you still heard probably 80% of their hits. I wonder if they will come back here again soon. Chris seemed to be appreciative of the audience.

    More importantly, will PJ ever return to MN? Matt, you can report to the band about how nice and welcoming we are. :-)
