A way around the rumored 10% allotment

It is my understanding that ticketing agencies cut the number of tickets available to fan clubs to 10% due to shows like MSG 2003, when there were 7000 one night and 8000 the next there on fan club tickets. The reason they made the change is because they could not charge their egregious convenience fee if the tickets were sold thru fan clubs. Well, what if we agreed to pay the egregious ticketmaster convenience charge?(or whatever company happens to be selling tickets for various shows)
While I would not be happy about paying $220 for a pair of $80 tickets, I'd rather do that and have fan club seats than be on my own against these bastardly behemoths, who sell any good seats left directly to scalpers. A few people will snag lower reserved seats on 2/9, but we all know most lucky enough to get into Wrigley will be sitting in the Upper Deck
