Ok, for those of you that have heard a lot of the boots, which show this tour had the loudest crowd. Consider singing along and cheering.

So far the loudest I've heard is Dublin. But then if the Astoria show had been released as a boot that would have topped it.
  • Of the two I've been to, Dublin was louder. Haven't heard any boots yet though.

Milan topped the Astoria show, hands down! No question about it, for me.

And trust me, up until September 17th I thought the Astoria was the best, also in terms of crowd, show I had ever been to.

That is until I went to Milano... that concert: such a crowd! Milano really was goosebump-worthy!

Seriously, one has to experience it live there in Milano to believe how loud a crowd can be.

They're broadcasting tonite on the web. Check it out here! :D

-Buenos Aires 2 (check the end of Yellow Ledbetter )
-Milan 2006 (Daughter, Black and Why Go)
-Lisbon 2000 ( 40'000 singing Alive at the end of Jeremy )

Tokyo 2003 Awesome!!!!!, no just joking (great show anyway). I think the italian shows and especially Milan I think, although the crowd in Berlin was also pretty loud.

MILANO 2006 is one of the most unbelievably loudest crowds I have ever heard! Completely mind blowing, heart stopping, jaw dropping, chill inducing...just HOLY HOLY SHIT! SO loud it's scary!

Wow! Yeah I saw it for download on some site but it was a format that my comp didn't support. I'm aching to hear that show. The vibe in the crowd was intense. You could so feel the full on freak out all around you. :o Ahhh and Indifference was so beautiful. Stoney was getting his groove on something fierce during that too. So much so that Jeff walked over to him and gave him props. :)

Oh and YeahThatRocks.com, other than MILANO I must add that SF was loooud too...especially SF III. :D

  • Milan is the LOUDEST concert I have ever personally witnessed!! Like someone mentioned earlier you had to be there to feel the intesity and loudness of this crowd. The bootleg doesn't even do it justice. It was freakin' loud. I was just floored at how loud the fans were! It was just one of those things where you just had to be there!

Boston did itself proud and was fantastic....

But the Milan boot is just ridiculous! I don't know why Eddie even bothered to sing.

    Hail, hail Milano!

I know B, we have some loud ass mouths. :D Release, In Hiding and Present Tense especially floor me. :o Yes though, you NEED to listen to Milano. You have no idea what you're in for. There is no way to properly explain this. It's INSANITY!
Milan is the LOUDEST concert I have ever personally witnessed!!

I BELIEVE IT!! And trust me, it's not just a "had to be there" thing at all. I haven't had a show that I wasn't at effect me this much! I cannot even believe that the boot does it no justice. What in the fuck????

AGREED!!! It's one thing to be "loud" but this is completely ridiculous!

    WOW!!
  • I was at both Lisbon shows and Milan, and Milan was definitely the louder of the three shows! But i think Lisbon 2 sounds a little louder on the bootleg.

I'll NEVER forget Milano! The intensity that night was unbelievable. Like someone said, i don't know why Eddie bothered singing!

The audience in Zagreb was loud, crazy and wild!

I have seen many concerts from many different bands in many countries/cities but this was unbelievable!
  • pajopajo Posts: 3,292
We're from Zagreb so we're not that objective, but check out Zagreb when the boot appears.
Someone asked why Ed even bothered to sing in Milano. Well, in Zagreb he didn't!!!! He let us sing the whole first half of Betterman, a big part of Jeremy and bits of a lot, but I mean a lot, of other songs! Hope you'll be able to hear that on the bootleg!

(it was definitely the loudest of the 5 shows we saw)

Does this not depend on the size of the crowd? I mean the size means everything right? Dulbin was more electric than Paris but because Paris was twice as big it didnt feel lower than paris. People in Dulbin seemed to know more of the words and where definitely more intense than Paris singing (in my opinion of course). Im Irish but i get the sense that if PJ had have played in the UK in an arena (worthy of their size, at least 20 times the siz of the astoria) rather than a festival it would top them all.
  • If you want loud, try Calgary 05 (small town - the best I have evr heard), Winnipeg 05 (Eddie acknowledged this, I am sure he has before, but incredible boot - started with Betterman) and Toronto (second show May 10) All have there moments, but the 3 loudest shows I have been to (out of 15)
70 Pearl Jam Shows in 12 countries and counting!
