Wait, so there's 8,000 people on this list, and they can each buy up to 6 tickets. That is 48,000 tickets up for grabs at the pre-sale... or am I confused??? No wonder the 10c ticket allocation was so small. It will be interesting to see what's still available on the day of the general public sale.

Also, people are selling their presale codes online. I wonder if it would be worth buying or if they would get cancelled because the tickets would ship out of the neihgborhood, and state for that matter.

Just because you can buy up to 6 tickets does not mean they will be available.

Word of caution if you are considering buying. Codes for the presale won't be emailed until next Tuesday, so if someone is willing to sell you a code now, its a fake. I'd hate to see someone get ripped off.

They're not all guaranteed 6 tickets. Just like any other sale, there is a certain number of tickets, and they are all competing for them.

This presale is making me worried for getting tickets during the general sale. I didn't get 10C and I don't live in Chicago, so general sale is the only option I have and I don't want to get shut out. Between 10C, this pre-sale, and season ticket holders, it doesn't seem like there's going to be many tickes left for the general sale.

I was really hoping to make this my first PJ show and would hate to have to wait until the fall tour since I can't afford to pay $2000 for a ticket from StubHub.

  • Sorry to drag this back up but the ordinance introduced at the Chicago City Council had a few tidbits of info which some might find interesting.
Any owner, lessee, or manager of any stadium at which a musical event is held pursuant to this Ordinance shall use commercially reasonable efforts to cause a minimum of three thousand (3,000) tickets combined for all musical events if more than one musical event is held pursuant to this ordinance, and at least one thousand five hundred (1,500) tickets per musical event held pursuant to this Ordinance to be made available for sale to persons residing within United States Postal Service Zip Codes 60613, 60614, 60640, or 60657.

    Also of note:

    -Curfew is indeed 11pm.
    -Beer sales end at 9:30pm.
-Ordinance was written only to include July 19 (PJ show) and 20 (Jason Aldean show)

Here is the link to the actual ordinance if you care to read it.
