Rows 9 and 10

I can understand why the draw for seating is random for rows 1 and 2, but why also 9 and 10? I don't mean for catering for more TC lucky lottery winners, but why those two rows?

    I've always wondered about that myself. Maybe their reasoning is not to piss off the senior members by making say the first 4 rows all lottery and thus giving the regulars a chance at row 5 at best. Once it comes to row 9 vs. 11, I guess the perceived difference isn't that big anymore and no one will be mad at the lottery winners sitting 2 rows in front of them...

    if i remember well from the shows i saw at usa,there is more space distance from 8th to 9th row..
    so you dont have someone very close to you..im not sure tho..i remeber this at Toronto kinda,but not at MSG

    I always thought it was because, musically speaking, the sound is the best about 10 rows back. ;)
