Madison, WI recommendations?

I'm going to a concert in Madison in a couple weeks, only been there once a long time ago.
Can anyone give me some good tips on the best record stores in town? Also any good craft beer bars/restaurant tips?
Probably getting a little too old to go to freshman/sophomore type college bars :) Just trying to get some idea of the best places to check out.
No time to be void or save up on life, you gotta spend it all.

    Check out Ella's Cafe....very kitschy, away from the crazy college places, amazing deli food.
