Was anyone there at the London concert in 2010? That is a great story and I think the box set is worth the price just for that DVD. It seems the people in England really appreciate a great concert while still knowing how to take care of themselves (unlike Lollapalooza in Chicago). I got goosebumps watching that show and that crowd. The footage of their first public appearance is interesting too. At California Northridge I believe in 1991. It looks like it was at a family picnic or something but you can feel the vibe and the energy. I highly recommend checking this out. And damn, I wish they would record some new music and tour!

  • I was at the London concert, it was a great show. I saw them a week or so later at the Download Festival, which was even better :D I'm sure I'll pick this up when I've got some spare cash.

I too was at the London concert

Who doesn't love a chance to see RATM ... and on top of that for free. Well I did pay 79p to download Killing in the Name :P
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

I just watched "Know Your Enemy" on YouTube from that show. Holy shit what a performance of that song and the crowd! Those in attendance were very lucky. I'd love to see them live but not sure if I'd be able to handle a Rage show.

  • I was there as well, incredible day and first time seeing RATM for me, for free as well!! :D Also saw them at Download but much preferred their set and the occasion at Finsbury (was surrounded by morons at Download every where I went, guess it's just luck of the draw).

Funny, I had the exact opposite - surrounded by people who only knew one song at the Finsbury park show and were only there cause it was free. Like you say though, luck of the draw who you're stuck next to at a show.
  • White Riot was really cool to listen to. I'm jealous of all you fools that got to go.

  • Rage has no bad songs. At all. None.

If I win a massive lottery, I'd like to hire Rage and Tool to play in my hometown (proceeds to charity and a little 'extra' for them).

I can't stop listening to the demo disc. Mindsets a Threat/ Darkness of Greed/ and Clear the Lane are the wind in my sails right now.

The unpolished Township Rebellion is awesome.
