    Depends on the dates.
    I start a new job Feb 4th so if it's late enough in the year and I'm allowed to take vacation...I just might make the trip.

    just tell them, "I already have plans and it's on 'such and such' date" most workplaces are okay with that.

    Being a longtime Bears fan, I've always wanted to visit Chicago, but I've alwasy said that the trip would be around a PJ show and a Bears home game (hopefully vs. the Packers on a Monday night) - so I guess I will not be making this trip.
